[Birdpics] Killdeer (Charadrius vociferus)

>From the coast of Lake Erie at Magee Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. I
stumbled on this nesting killdeer while walking the shore. While I was aware
of the killdeer's mimicking injury behavior, this bird behaved quite
differently than those near my home in Tennessee. My TN observations have
always consisted of mimicking a broken wing while leading the intruder away
from the nest. This bird displayed the behavior in this photo while
attempting to lure me away from the nest. (It worked!)
